👨‍🚀About the Position🛰️

 This person will be responsible for developing business opportunities for Arkadia Space, both at commercial and institutional level. This role will include attendance to events and conferences, as well as business trips in order to stablish strategic partnerships and projects as well as develop to key business relationships. 

What you'll be doing 

  • Attendance to events and conferences to present and promote Arkadia’s progress and activities. 
  • Support the development of proposals and tenders for projects related to public institutions (ESA, Spanish Space Agency, CDTI, etc.) 
  • Support of the development of company’s business plan 
  • Continuous evaluation of market trends and benchmarking of competition to support business strategy definition and develop market and business intelligence.  
  • Liaison with Sales to support the preparation of bids and the negotiation of contracts.  

What you'll need 

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in aerospace; other STEM disciplines may be considered based on experience. 
  • Demonstrated experience in roles where communication and interpersonal skills are key for their execution. 
  • Basic understanding of orbital propulsion and its applications. 
  • Basic understanding of the space sector ecosystem: key stakeholders, institutions and companies. 
  • Proficiency in the English language, both spoken and written, to effectively communicate in an international environment. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.  
  • Willing to travel frequently. 

Nice to have 

  • Participation in events and conferences related to the space sector: IAC, SGAC events, etc.  
  • Industry experience in business development activities / sales 
  • Hands-on experience on hardware projects (i.e. at university), especially when related to chemical propulsion and satellites. 
  • Experience working in a Public Institution in the space sector, preferably ESA. 
  • Knowledge in other languages.
