👨‍🚀About the Position🛰️

This person will support the current team in the development of fluid components for the propulsion systems of the company, participating also in other propulsion-related development activities in Arkadia. The role will require a high level of autonomy and responsibility and combines design and testing tasks, constantly in contact with the hardware, for an iterative maturation process.

What you'll be doing 

  • Lead the development strategy of fluid components.
  • Design parts and analyze mechanical parts.
  • Definition of testing activities and qualification plans.
  • Execution of testing activities.
  • Post-processing of data to feedback iterative design loop.

What you'll need 

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in aerospace / mechanical engineering.
  • Relevant experience in the development of fluid components for rocket propellant handling, including but not limited to, tanks, expulsion devices, F/D valves, pressure regulators.
  • Good knowledge of fluid dynamics and mechanical design and analysis.
  • Experience working with FEA / CFD software.
  • Experience in testing and data analysis.
  • Experience in AIT of liquid propulsion systems.
  • Proficiency in the English language, both spoken and written, to effectively communicate in an international environment.

Nice to have 

  • Previous work with hydrogen peroxide and other green propellants.
  • Experience in AIT of liquid propulsion systems.
  • Skilled in CAD modelling (Siemens NX is a plus).
  • Fluent in Spanish.
