👨‍🚀About the Position🛰️

This person will support the current team in the development of the monopropellant (HTP based) thrusters of the company, participating also in other propulsion-related development activities in Arkadia, at system level as well as at component level. The role will require a high level of autonomy and responsibility and combines design and testing tasks, constantly in contact with the hardware, for an iterative maturation process.

What you'll be doing 

  • Developing analysis codes monopropellant modelling.
  • Design parts for its use in monopropellant engines.
  • Thermomechanical analysis and assessment of thruster parts and assemblies.
  • Participation in testing activities.
  • Post-processing of data.

What you'll need 

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in aerospace / mechanical engineering.
  • Hands-on experience on hardware projects, especially those related to rocket propulsion.
  • Good knowledge of rocket engine design and analysis
  • Experience working with FEA / CFD software.
  • Experience in testing and data analysis.
  • Proficiency in the English language, both spoken and written, to effectively communicate in an international environment.
  • Proactive and open mindset.

Nice to have 

  • Previous experience in development of monopropellant thrusters based on high concentration hydrogen peroxide.
  • Experience in AIT of liquid propulsion systems.
  • Skilled in CAD modelling (Siemens NX is a plus).
  • Fluent in Spanish.
